Secure and sustainable geothermal heating for businesses and housing companies
Geothermal heating, which offers the highest savings among heating methods, as a turnkey package for businesses and housing companies. For companies and housing associations, we install geothermal systems throughout Finland.

Geothermal heat pumps for businesses and housing companies
A ground source heat pump is a highly energy efficient and environmentally friendly form of heating that can save up to 85% of heating costs compared to oil or electric heating. It is also a reliable and durable solution, as a correctly sized and installed system can last for over 20 years. Using a ground source heat pump reduces greenhouse gas emissions and helps protect the environment, making it an important step towards a more sustainable future.
Geothermal systems from design to installation
When you purchase a geothermal heating system from HVM, you get a professional and comprehensive service from design to installation. We install efficient and hassle-free geothermal heating systems for all types of properties throughout Finland. We also take care of the dismantling of old heating systems and any necessary modifications.
Process of acquiring geothermal systems:
1. Site survey, sizing and design according to the needs of the site.
2. Construction of the borehole and installation of the piping.
3. Installation and connection of the geothermal heat pump.
4. Adjustment of the pump and operating instructions.
Brands we represent
We offer high quality and safe geothermal systems from NIBE, Gebwell, Daikin and CTC. With a geothermal heat pump you can efficiently collect renewable energy from rock, soil or water. The system is supplied ready equipped with a domestic hot water heater or a separate heater and includes flow switches.
Drilling services
We only offer dimensioned geothermal well drilling for companies and building societies. We carry out drilling for both renovation and new projects. The drilling of a geothermal well is an essential step in the installation of a geothermal system and ensures the efficient and long-lasting operation of the system. HVM performs drilling with precision and professionalism, taking into account the soil characteristics and the energy needs of your property. Well-planned and carefully executed drilling ensures optimal heat transfer, making geothermal systems a reliable choice.

Frequently asked questions about geothermal heating
What are the benefits of purchasing a geothermal heat pump?
A geothermal heat pump is a highly energy-efficient form of heating that saves considerable energy and heating costs. It is also an environmentally friendly choice.
Economy:
Savings start accruing from the very beginning of use. Geothermal heating increases the value of your house, and makes it easier to resell. Geothermal heat is an environmentally friendly, renewable energy source. We also recommend high-quality solar panels for geothermal heating.
Ease of use:
A properly sized, installed and adjusted geothermal system is a worry-free choice. You can concentrate on enjoying your home!
What is the difference between an air source heat pump and a ground source heat pump?
An air source heat pump draws its energy from the outside air, while a ground source heat pump collects energy stored in the ground or in a body of water. The advantage of geothermal heat over other heat pump systems is that, due to its high mass, the ground remains at a constant temperature all year round, and compared to air-source heat pumps, geothermal heat works well even in severe frosts, making it an energy-efficient and stable form of heating.
Do I need to drill a well for a geothermal heat pump?
A geothermal heat pump can also be installed with horizontal piping. However, it requires a large space and suitable soil for installation. The advantages of drilling a geothermal well are reliability, ease of maintenance and a much smaller footprint. We recommend installing a geothermal borehole by drilling.
Can a geothermal heat pump be installed in an old property?
A ground source heat pump can be installed in almost any property, including old renovation projects. In an old property, however, it is worth noting that the sizing of the geothermal heat pump must be done carefully to ensure that it meets the needs of the property. In older properties, the piping of the heating system may also need to be renewed to make it compatible with the geothermal system.
